I have often wondered how history will record these bizarre times - now I wonder if we will have one. I'm old enough to remember the bicentennial - and we are just a year away from 250 years of this unique democracy. And I can't help wondering if we will still have one a year from now, we're seeing changes happen so quickly. I live in Revolutionary War country and have ancestors who fought, and I can't help noting the similarities.
