after being sentenced to 30 months in prison for conspiring to defraud his re-election campaign out of $750,000 in funds that were used to pay for vacations, personal items, and expenses including high-end appliances and electronics.

While his actions seem tame compared to what's going on today, we can only hope he turned over a new leaf.
