Some of it will be irreparable – such as the next Republican president.

Trump has established a precedent of executive branch abuse of power, a template future Republican presidents can use to establish another lawless, authoritarian regime – taking note of how Trump issued lawless EOs, pursued an agenda of corruption and criminality, and ignored the courts, all with absolute impunity.
