20. The Guard fell under the Fed because Trump federalized them. That makes Trump the Commander in Chief over them.

That doesn't mean it was right or legal however. Unfortunately that has to be dealt with after the fact.

The letter starts that process so I don't think the General will be dismissed.... due to the chain of command. This is one of those gray areas that Trump is so good at exploiting.

We will have to see what happens.
