I think that a man in his 80s, who has said plenty via his music, should be able to live in peace and do what he wants.

And your subtle call out of my post in the lounge by referring to it as hagiographic, did not go unnoticed.

Maybe you could use your own voice to speak out loudly against Trump, instead of pondering why Bob Dylan is not speaking out. And I'm not talking about just posting on DU. If you are that concerned, then why not do it loudly yourself at sources which will reach the general public?

Or, if you are concerned enough to question Bob Dylan's choices via a DU post, maybe you could try to contact him to ask him why he is not speaking out. He is the only one who knows why. Nobody on DU knows.

Bob Dylan really owes nothing to people he doesn't even know.
