In reply to the discussion: Democrats should do a recount in Pennsylvania, Michigan, and Wisconsin [View all]Rhiagel
(1,789 posts)In 2020, Biden received over 81 million votes and Trump got 74+ million votes.
Today, Trump has 72ish million votes and Kamala has only 68ish million votes.
That's about 15 million votes less recorded than 2020. Will we still see that many votes added to the tally? Did all those Biden voters stay home and not vote? Were millions of Democratic votes 86-ed for ticky-tack reasons, i.e., no ballot secrecy sleeve.
The nation-wide stupidity just doesn't make sense.
From Newsweek, "The outstanding votes in the remaining states make it unlikely for Harris to overtake Trump in the popular vote even if she were to win all of the remaining votes." This implies there are less than 5 million votes left to count. If so, then 10 million LESS votes were counted than in 2020. Did 10 million Americans just not vote this time around? Really?
