Requesting prayers and healing vibes for my older brother today

He is going in to surgery today at 4 pm, he will be undergoing brain surgery.
He has been experiencing a serious situation for most of the last month, and has already had less invasive procedures to help him, but now it has come to this radical and risky operation: they will be lifting part of his skull to access his brain.
We, his family, are scared, but hopeful that this procedure will return our brother, husband, father, uncle, nephew and cousin to us again.
It’s a 5 hour procedure and I will update at some point.

Edit: first of all a very sincere thank you to all responded to my request, it means a lot, and I love you all for your messages … update follows


my SIL has sent an update: surgery went well and surgeons are positive with results. He will hopefully be off the ventilator within 24 hours. He was put on the ventilator several days ago as he developed pneumonia but it has been treated successfully so they proceeded with today’s surgery .
Now he’s in neuro ICU and hopefully will be recovering over the coming days.
Now it’s recovery time.
