How do we even talk to the people who have died??? I just wish we could…….my husband died on May 4th this year, damn near a month ago. He wasn’t himself, the guy I fell in love with. He had dementia, and really wasn’t the guy I loved for at least 2 years. We were married in 1980…….tons of good times, and about 2021 he did start showing signs of not being the man I fell in love with. Dementia just sucks. I want to tell him I love him, I miss him and I want him back. Damn it, damn it damn it.
