So in order to support his fictional narrative that it's actually the liberals who have greater numbers, he has to invent a media conspiracy. Instead of reporting on the more common views of Christians being conservative, it's a media conspiracy to hide liberal viewpoints and by boldly posting on Democratic Underground that liberal Christians exist (to the enlightenment of absolutely no one here), he is battling those evil forces in the media. Somehow.
