3. Jet lag has two causes

First is the schedule shift. The second is the slight radiation positioning that you received, which depresses your melatonin levels. Just drink water and take melatonin if you have it or get out to the store. Melatonin is actually FDA approved as a medicine for jet lag, it slipped in as an over the counter supplement when the rules were standardized in 1995.
