THIS is what you think is "getting out of control"? Good God.
But, by all means, proceed with the "emotional reactions to massacres are hysterical" hysterics.
Apologies if I'm wrong but I infer that your sarcasm focuses on the seriousness of mass shootings and how suggesting some reactions are "out of control". I find it helpful in most cases for people to express their feelings without having to be experts in the topics of their love or hate. I've learned the difference between posts aimed at expressing heartfelt emotions and those expressing serious ideas on legislation and politics.

Sure
Some of that is a bit personal but my wife had various difficulties in conception and delivery of our oldest and the post delivery complications. For the last 11 years she has been a cancer patient involving specific female anatomy, related surgery, radiation, chemotherapy and the side effects. She is a warrior.
