3. A portal into the past ...

We can't step through that portal, but we can view the past through it just fine. Fascinating.

I wouldn't have thought there would've been so many cars in 1906.

Most of the people were men. Only an occasional two or three women.

The city looked OLD. How could San Francisco have been that old in 1906? It looked like it had all been there for centuries, not mere decades.
