4. my original plan today was to hit the thrift shops

then i saw that dutch oven was on sale. cooking is my art, my therapy. feeding people, especially my husband, makes me happy, so it was a very worthwhile investment.

i've got a beef stew going in the oven and the apartment is warm and smell good. things are stable, things are good.
