thanks for responding...Sounds like your wife had her lung resectioned for the purposes of a biopsy (Glad to hear she's asymptomatic, by the way). I had this as well, but my biopsy showed a small (2.8 cm) malignant nodule in my lung, so I needed to get it removed, which I did...In my case, they were looking for metastasis to lympth nodes and found none, which is good, so I will, like your wife, be put on 6 month checkups, no further treatment needed as of now..That said, I can definitely relate to the description of your wife's situation as "feeling beat up, but powering through" -- It is, in my opinion, a long and difficult recovery.
