purchase it new.

Possibly another Epson would work.

I have taken to purchasing whatever printer is on sale, the past two or three times I've needed one. Works for me. When my current machine (the aforesaid Epson 4520) stops working, I'll go to my local Best Buy and see what they have that's cheap. I don't do an enormous amount of printing or copying, but I like having something that's reasonably reliable.
