23. Luna, I recently thought I was having the same problem because I'm on a different machine now and

ON EDIT: At this late date I still haven't learned not to post about things I don't know about. What I said previously/originally is between the lines of asterisks, below, and is not pertinent to what you're saying. More pertinent is that I, too, am having problems posting WEB pictures, exactly as you described, used to be able to Copy most of them (except encrypted) and Paste to DU, not anymore. Photobucket and postimage.org are irrelevant to this. Sorry.

literally forgot some things. I had used Photobucket for years, then several months ago Photobucket went rogue on us and went to being a paid service.

After floundering around, I took up another DUer's suggestion to use postimage.org

I hardly post pics anymore, but the few times I've used postimage.org it's worked fine.
