However I'd wager that 'Anonymous', as relates to the protest culture in Canada, is not some shady group of foreign jihadists so much as maybe your next door neighbour's 20 year old son or daughter. And the fact that they appear so adept at undermining federal websites for the purposes of protest, helps illustrate to the public, the great expense and poor value our government gets for its own cyber security. As well it underscores the hypocrisy of a government who justifies removing freedoms 'to keep us safe', let alone account for the vast and growing amount of data it has on each citizen.
