have my greatest respect. Because you did something, (albeit maybe through necessity) that I can not even imagine, having to admit,and give up the love of life, to someone else.
My pastor has asked me, what about Tess if you and Mrs K die first? my standard response is, somewhat snarky,, "I have prayed and God and I have an understanding, Mrs K and I will be 95 yo, and tess will be 60, and we will just do a Thelma and Louise and all come and see you at same time, And God told me ,,that's ok" but honestly, Mrs K and I have a 450 page life plan attached to our will with 10 family names who will take Tess if we go first.. Hardest 6 months of our life building that life plan. Even to what kind of potato chips she likes.
So back to my point,so much respect to you, making your decision,I am not sure I am man enough to do that..
