4. Not entirely clear to me, but sounds like he fired "2-3" shots for no good reason

When the van was in the garage or backing out. Then, maybe he had some reason to later fire "6-7" shots when the van was coming back at him.

In the other hand, who outside of Hollywood thinks shooting a driver is a better plan than trying to get out of the way? Like going around the side of the house or something? Or course I don't know the terrain but with a garage right there you'd think there might be done defensive position.

Planting one's self and shooting a driver seems unlikely to work. Even if you kill the driver, the van would still come at you. It might even make the van faster and more unpredictable.

Also interesting how 2-3 plus 6-7 equals 13....
