Sunday 'Round the farm -- Today we take a 360 degree walk around the barn. [View all]

Due to unforeseen contractor concerns construction on Laurie's barn has been delayed and inconsistent. We have a new contractor on the job. Progress is progressing.
This is how the project looked last week.

We begin our tour.
The former contractor left things in a mess.

But he and his son did get things going.

We say Hi to Maddie on our way by.

She and Pete are back together again, albeit separated physically until
their new barn has been built.

They may not always see eye to eye but like all siblings they always
have each other.

We step around to the next side.

And the next.

Looking through back toward the house.

Laurie's newly purchased gravel delivery.

Almost to where we started.

At which point a measuring tape that has seen better days lies on the ground.

Someone had Taco Bell for lunch.

A bee checked it out.

A look at Laurie's line of fence posts for which she dug the holes and filled them in with gravel and dirt. Her tractor bucket did the heavy lifting with the
aid of the chain in the next frame.

And that's where we stand. Yesterday our new qualified builder and his
highly competent buddy resumed work, cutting roofing metal with an
angle grinder.

More updates as we go along.
