30. I was mistaken. You'd be able to use an easel outdoors without signing up for one of their classes.

Longwood prohibits the use of artist easels, tripods and monopods in the greenhouses at all times and outdoors during special events such as fountain shows and concerts. Otherwise, you'd be able to paint there, and I'd encourage you to do so if you visit Longwood.

I haven't needed to use a tripod for outdoor shots, but it would be ideal if I could use one in the greenhouses after sundown.

I'm sorry if my directing you to the plein air class link caused any misunderstanding or that I think you need beginner's lessons! I love the paintings you've posted here! BTW, the class was "geared toward those with experience painting in outdoor environments."
