I also find it therapeutical. I have all the songs I know in a playlist and I spend at least an hour and a half just playing along with the recordings. I also have been learning new songs I have always wanted to play but never got around to learning. This week I learned and worked on both Croce and Maury Muehleisen's parts in Operator. That was a lot of fun. You should get yourself the new strings. You'll be glad you did. I restring the two I play the most every 2 1/2 to three months. I haven't played my 12 string acoustic or my electric guitars very much. My go to guitars are my Martin and my GS mini that I keep in a stand right by the couch.
