I sort of got used to it, "seeing" two simultaneous images of the world. I got to where I could generally ignore one image and live via the other. But without binocular vision, depth perception was gone.

Fortunately, mine was fixable with an operation, but I had good health insurance (medicare and medigap), and I doubt the kitten has anything like that.

A kitten probably needs good depth perception to make the leap from floor to table to refrigerator top and back.I'd guess that little cat will cope just fine.
