I'm not being too flippant because most people who ask for a firing squad want to draw attention to their execution. The press doesn't usually cover a routine lethal injection. (if there is such a thing)

I am strongly against capital punishment, but if someone is truly guilty I wouldn't shed a tear, and that's where I have an issue. Too many innocents have been murdered by overzealous prosecutors, lying witnesses, and crooked cops. One wrongful death is too many
