North County Report: A Closer Look at New San Onofre Beach Lease Agreement - "By now, all of you San Onofre State Beach lovers have heard that its beloved beaches, campgrounds and trails will continue to be open to the public for at least another 25 years."
A couple of points: I-5 to LA from SD runs along the coast. Two trainlines also run parallel the coast and freeway. The Amtrak Pacific Surfliner and the San Diego transit Coaster. Both beautiful rides especially at sunset.
In my younger days I visited many surf spots, and took off on some crazy waves - a win is when I'm here to talk about it.
