9. I think it's a possibility that they will run Ron Nirenberg in Joaquin's place

I have no idea if this is even a true possibility, but Nirenberg was extremely well liked as the Mayor of San Antonio and he just termed out and was replaced by Gina Ortiz Jones - the first LGBTQ mayor of the city.

Nirenberg was giving a speech yesterday and indicated that he's going to seek some political office. He didn't give any specifics. Some were speculating that Nirenberg meant he would be seeking a County office, but I have a gut sense that he's thinking something bigger.
