Those were individual cities, not the entire country. Only Grozny was comparable but Gaza has surpassed even that horror-show now. It is total destruction in Gaza. Whatever is left, Israel has already said it will be destroyed. Levelled. I'm sure you know why. Those settlers don't want to live in rubble.

Sort of like what was done to Palestinian villages and orchards in 1948.

I'm sorry but your comparisons and justifications don't hold up to either history or the basics of morality.
