(38 posts)31. Will North Korea sell a nuke to Iran?
If North Korea were to sell Iran even a single nuclear weapon, it would add money to North Koreas impoverished economy and raise their status as a nuclear power that cannot ignored. Such a weapon could act as a stop-gap to deter further attacks to Iran by other countries until Iran can independently build their own nuclear weapons.
Im surprised no one is talking about this possible scenario. If Israel wants Iran to comply with IAEA standards and comply with the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons if/when Iran attains such weapons, then I think its only fair that Israel finally comply with the exact same treaty. Failure to do so poses an on-going threat to all counties in the Middle East.
