the masked meatheads of ice should realize that miller is passing the buck and putting a target on their backs by saying they weren't following protocol. I am sure noem/miller guaranteed they would protect them no matter what, but now that the backlash is building, the rats are running for cover and its gonna be everyone for themselves. as you said, its the way authoritarians play the game, and shouldnt be a surprise to anyone. hopefully some ice folks will start to realize they may be in big legal trouble if they keep being complete asses. maybe they can start a choir in whatever prison they all end up in.
