(20,166 posts)Hawley has some conflicting views. For an extreme MAGA, he's also against corporate money and drills CEO's.

(20,166 posts)It's just that some hard-right wingers are like that. Matt Gaetz is another example. He teamed up with AOC to sponsor a bill banning holding stock for anyone in Congress. He also refused to take money from big corporations. Then there's Rand Paul. He was against the Patriot Act and doesn't want to increase the deficit. His father even more so.

(616 posts)They will try & use that to get some white "christian" nationalist
BS through the congress. Also, it will probably be an increase
over 5 years, just watch. Also, note the timing, this is to distract
from all the other garbage they are doing now. They NEVER do
anything that only helps the working class, NEVER.

(1,488 posts)This has "stunt" written all over it. Hawley clearly wants to be seen jogging away from abject cruelty, but the guy once clerked for John Roberts, whose household crest says adorant crudelitatem. Based on "jogging Josh's" voting history, he absolutely loathes working class supporters except on primary dates.

He must be trying to build up a better resume before he's up for reelection.
