Fmr. U.S. Amb. to Ukraine who quit over Trump policies 'Seriously thinking about a run for Congress' - Velshi - MSNBC

Longtime senior diplomat Bridget Brink was the U.S. Ambassador to Ukraine until recently when she resigned over this administration’s foreign policy.

Putin is “just stringing Trump and the rest of us along,” says Brink, who is now “seriously thinking about” a run for Congress, continuing a life of public service. “Are we going to stand by and watch this happen [in Ukraine], or are we going to stand up and stop the bully? And I think it's as simple as that.” - Aired on 06/07/2025.

We need Democrats who can speak passionately with knowledge and experience backing them up to drown out the idiot right with their made up outragge and phony crises. We need to beat those bastards into the ground like a bunch of overfed tent pegs in 2026.

Going all mushmouthed about middle class families is not going to work. It hasn't worked fo decades.

And I don't know where the former ambassador is considering running, but I have a suggestion - we sure could use her in NY-21 since we're stuck with national embarrassment Stefanik - again.
