Former ambassador to the United Nations John Bolton joined CNN's Kasie Hunt to discuss the second Signal chat controversy Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth is embroiled in, saying Hegseth shows a "terrible lack of judgement."

1. The only job with the US Military Kegsbreath Hegseth is qualified to do

..... is K-P duty,... peel the potatoes so the troops can be fed. Anything above and beyond that exceeds Pete's pay grade and intellectual capabilities.

I don't think he is capable of holding down employment for long.

4. They do have those dehydrated potato flakes you know ?

The potato, salt + pepper, and powdered milk is all mixed in.
All one need do is add boiling hot water. Let is sit a while, then serve right up.

Ya think Hegsbreath can handle that okay ?

5. Frankly I am not sure he should be around boiling water in large quantities.

And it involves a number of steps, boiling the water, letting it sit for a certain period of time,
dishing it out.

Maybe peeling potatoes would be easier for him.

But he is so narcissistic, he would hate the menial job where he cannot be the star
of the show and he would sabotage it anyway.

3. Hegseth is not a stupid person,....

.... or WAS not a stupid person,... to be more accurate,... but alcohol, frat-boy Fascism, and toxic masculinity got a death grip on his personality. He seems to lack the ambition to grow beyond all that and finally mature into a full grown man,... I leaving his boyish days behind him.

Either refusing or afraid to finally grow up.

6. His alcoholism and narcissistic personality disorder override his IQ.

HIs poor judgement, lack of social skills, and severe immaturity block most of intellectual
abilities. Also his need to show off, be the star of the show, and inability to read the room
or take responsibility are also problems.

First thing he has to do is get clean and sober.

But he is too damaged to devote government time or taxpayer's money to get Pete's head screwed on straight.

The man is incapable of introspective analysis. As you mentioned his rampant narcissism is a cesspool too wide, too deep, and too toxic for even Pete to navigate. This is not Reality TV at the Defense Department.

8. Exactly. This man is very disturbed and dangerous in his current position.

He is putting the troops and national security in grave danger.

Yes treatment would be complicated. He would need to be hospitalized for detox to prevent
serious DTs. Then remain sober and in alcohol/drug treatment.
Then in about six months we could look at his other diagnoses, take a look at the
personality disorders, mood disorder, he looks a bit bipolar to me...

So it is going to be long term. Two times weekly for some time.
