Absolutely amazing cast - Daniel Day-Lewis, Simon Callow, Maggie Smith, Judy Dench, Denholm Elliot, Julian Sands, Helena Bonham Carter, Rupert Graves - and every one of them is flawless, as are the filming locations, including the exquisite Linley-Samborne House (as Cecil Vyse's residence).

And I think it might be time for a re-watch... Or maybe even full Merchant-Ivory 'film festival'!
