Posts about people who just got banned are not allowed under the forum rules. Since your post was an OP, I decided to lock it before someone alerted on it (and before people started posting replies which would also have been against the rules).

I will review the forum rules. I thought I would inform others of what can happen. Is there a place for that?

2. Meta Rules explanation

There used to be a lot of discussion around enforcing specific rules e.g. bashing Democratic figures on this site. Some of the conversations were getting heated and not focusing on the truly Progressive/Liberal values of the users on the site. So after discussions rules of governance were passed and documented on the site. Questioning these is considered a Meta discussion. There is no appetite to reopen those intense discussions.

I've learned to accept them.

It was the first time I had come across something like that. I was fooled and was informing others.
That is all.
