Thoreau wrote a chapter entitled "Solitude". I am OK with most of the loner stuff, but not to extremes. Solitude is best for piano practice. It is a bit annoying to hear until pieces are mastered. I got an electronic piano when I was married, and my wife was working odd shifts as a nurse. Played through headphones.
I recently told her that and she was unaware of the setup. Proof that it worked!
Enjoy a healthy amount of solitude. Beer's chilled for breaks in it.
