Rosie: Apr.15- What to look forward to next, Maya Angelou, how history will see Trump & co
Finally! I've been looking for the Big Picture on why we are going through this BS with trump. This reading by Rosie and Corina tells us.
For example, why haven't our Dem representatives spoken out more?
Why is it taking so long to get this treasonous asshole out of the White House?
To date I have somewhat satisfied my curiosity on the why of this by saying that the entire country needs to see how bad republicans are for an actual functioning democracy, not one that is hobbled by having 3 people with the wealth of the entire half of the country (that would be Bezos, Zuckerberg, etc.) Not one that is a cult let by a Russian asset/employee.
I call it experiential learning. As a teacher, whenever I work with adults, such as in corporate facilitating, we use experiential learning. What that means is that you as the facilitator draw from the experience of adults to help the class reach conclusions about the material you are teaching them. You do a lot of listening and drawing people out with this teaching technique.
A good facilitator hardly ever talks and is an expert on proposing questions that will draw out the students and get them actively involved in understanding how the topic for the class works in real life, not theory.
Only by seeing the damage wreaked by trump and republicans on this country can we convince the holdouts that they need to go. They are unfit for governance.
However, based on this Rosie/Corina reading, there is more to it than that. Describing herself as the "big picture" person, Corina tells us that we are going through this Nazi thing again because there are still vestiges of it hanging around. It needs to be stomped out.
Corina thinks we have turned the corner on it by the large protests this last weekend. These need to continue. The American people need to make it perfectly clear we are not on board for this and that it needs to stop.
That's the first 30" or so. There's more than this.
