American skier Lindsey Vonn ruptured her ACL in a recent World Cup crash, but will still try to compete at the Milan Cortina Olympics, she said during a press conference.

Now that's some stupidity right there, not to mention ego. Feel free to disagree and call it guts, but speaking as a nurse, although my field was cardiology and not orthopedics, she is letting herself in for serious damage, not to mention a lifetime of suffering.
