Nollie had a kind of scary episode of choking/hacking/coughing today.

She's a tiny Pomeranian, and I always worry because of the possibility of problems with tracheal collapse, which are characteristic of the breed. She's my third pom, and she's fine now.

But I found an infographic (one of my favorite information formats), and it was reassuring that I need not worry. So, I thought I'd share it. I can't say that I recommend the accompanying article, but I have shared the link.

She had followed me into the front bedroom, my office, where I have been cleaning and clearing things out, and it turns out she was probably just having a doggy allergy. I was sneezing myself. That's how I figured it out.

Next time, I'll wear a mask and put up the doggy baby gate.
