Breakfast Saturday 4 April 2026

Later this morning I'll have the last already made breakfast burrito- scrambled egg, ground turkey sausage, cubed potato, onion in a flour tortilla, salsa on the side and a pot of hot tea.

I use this recipe as a base
https://www.eatingonadime.com/make-your-own-breakfast-burritos-they-freeze-great/#wprm-recipe-container-21372
I do warm them up in a toaster oven on parchment paper before eating.

sunny side up egg, small sausage links and my usual buttered whole grain English muffin.

I'll have a small orange after the coffee is done.

Ducky must have smelled the sausage, but he didn't join me until I was sitting down. He had a very small taste of the sausage because I don't know if has seasonings bad for dogs. He then got to clean the plate with its egg and toast bits. That plate now looks clean enough to put away. Having finished the plate he didn't ask for more or say thanks. He just disappeared to bed.

He has me well trained.

Looks easy, too! I’m going to make it because I love burritos. It will also be nice to have something in the freezer for mornings when time is tight.

Yonnie, you’re just a utensil to go with that clean plate.

Toasted naan bread with roasted pepper and mozzarella.

Half a Cara Cara.

Earl Grey tea.

I'm planning on veggie ones next time -peppers, onions, mushrooms and minced jalapeno next batch with rice and egg.
