What's for Dinner, Wed., Feb. 4, 2026

Turkey burgers with lettuce, provolone, red onion, and mayo on whole wheat English muffin.

Cherry tomato salad with burrata. French salad dressing.

Cherry kombucha.

Dessert: I didn't get around to having the stewed apples I made yesterday, so they'll be good tonight with Greek honey-vanilla yogurt.

she bought me battered chicken gizzards. I warmed them up in the air fryer, and dipped them in honey mustard dressing. I have salad made up, but right now I'm full of gizzards. Looking forward to the North Western @ Illinois basketball game at 9pm, maybe I'll have my salad then.

My BIL gave me a large bag of very ripe Roma tomatoes so I blended them and then cooked them down and made a tomato basil soup with fresh basil leaves and coconut cream. Also made grilled cheese sandwiches with multigrain bread and vegan cheddar. Memories of our favorite school cafeteria lunch: tomato soup and grilled cheese sandwiches. Cheers!🥂

TJ made it and it was just what this sniffling and sneezing old man needed.

I had been drinking Celestial Seasoning, a combination of Lemon Drop Honey and Peppermint teas. After dinner I'm having a decaf Earl Grey.
