Antonia Lafaso Wins TOC 6!

Meant to post this last night while I was still watching.
She finished 2nd last year by one point & was crushed.
She wasn't going to compete this year & Fieri wasn't going to push her.
The production manager called her with a couple weeks before the deadline to say she had X days to change her mind.
A couple days later, she called Guy to say she was in.
Then, she won the thing. $150,000 and the belt!
Also, very cool was that the finale judges were Chauhan, Williamson, & Lin for all 3 contests, then Martha Stewart joined for the final.
Plus, Tiffany Faison was part of the show all season so they had all 5 Champs on stage at one time.
Six seasons and the champ has been a woman every time!

Antonia Lafaso is Food Network superstar. But I wonder sometimes if the outcomes might be predetermined a la WWE 'wrestling'.

4. I was travelling and somehow missed this.

That said, I had assumed she'd won about halfway through the season based on hints from all the interviews (and the fact that all the people who have been most likely to beat her seem to have dropped out in solidarity).

I like the show, but I do think it favors certain styles and chefs, even with the blind tasting.
