2. Chocolate cake, now we're talking 😋.

I still have the washing machine not draining properly problem. I need to till in the compost and goat manure into the garden soil, but it's raining this morning. Looks like I'm just gonna take it easy today, at least that's my plan. If the rain stops, I might go back into my woods and look for morels. Steak and mushrooms sounds so good.

5. Arggggh! Morels!

Originally from Iowa and man, I miss the springtime wanderings through the woods... We'd all get garbage bags of them and feast like idiots.

Just sprung for a deal from Forest Glory and got six cans of dehydrated morels for like $70. My urge may be satisfied but the gathering is a big part of what I miss.

Best we can do in Florida is rummage around cow patties and hope we find blue 'shrooms... but those aren't suitable for poutine. *eyebrow waggle*

3. Something easy

I have a protest to get to, so I think it will be cottage cheese, half a grapefruit, and toast.

I will be so envious if you get to have morels and steak tonight, Emile.

4. I'm hearing reports they have been finding

them. Loretta is the better mushroom hunter and always finds more than I do. My problem is I walk too fast and when by chance I find one, I'll look around to see if there are anymore. Then off I go. Off in the distance I'll hear Loretta scream, I found one and another one and another one. She is just better at finding them.
