Started the glp-1 injection...

My doctor actually recommended it said I was a good candidate. I've got horrific sleep apnea, obesity, probably pre-diabetic, and with the psoriatic arthritis the extra weight just makes everything worse.
I took my first shot Monday night, didn't feel bad yesterday but didn't eat much either. Slept like shit last night but that was my own damn fault. So I woke up this morning feeling like I had a hangover even though I've been sober for a year and a half.
I threw up all my coffee. I've been eating saltines and 7UP for now. Went to The dispensary, and got some tablets and some CB g gummies, which are actually supposed to help with the stomach stuff...

Ride the wave.

I'm really excited if this works. I've got a good 40 lb or more of trauma stored in this fat! So is part of my healing journey with all the abuse and everything else, losing weight is going to feel like really letting go of the rocks of my past.
The diet stuff shouldn't be too hard, started acupuncture 6 weeks ago and that has really changed a lot in what I want to put in my body. My whole flavor profile has changed and I'm not craving the evil stuff as bad. That evening treat that I got used to I will just have to shift to something healthier. Instead of ice cream, apple and peanut butter!

I'm really really hoping that this helps! I can't wait to see the results!

It's been a really rough 6 months, and we're almost done! I testify on the 25th of this month and I really hope that she gets sent away forever lol

But I dug deep. And I did the trauma work. And I'm still doing the therapy, and the healing and working on myself and my health! I even ended a 20-year relationship, it was a hookup and we'd been off and on for years. But I got tired of something that wasn't real, and I understand that I need to value myself more and in so doing value my relationships. So yeah it feels good.

Now if we can just get past this nausea I'd be fine LOL

Couldn't handle the nausea, got some gummies with cbg to help. Finally gave up and laid down yesterday after losing my coffee
So I literally slept from 6pm - 10 am! (bathroom breaks and a little awake @ 6am aside)

Got up, had some cereal while waiting for coffee, took my weed tab...and so far so good!

I'm gonna maybe go to a gentle yoga class tonight. I NEED to get my MRI done so I can get my back injection and feel "normal" so I can get walking!

...I guess I also gotta buy a scale... LOL I've never had one in my own home, I refused. But now I wanna see!

Those who had the best and most consistent loss chart were those that took weight only once a week so...

So I got a scale today. So technically my starting weight today is 180 lb
