Wake Up Dead Man: A Knives Out Mystery

is now on Netflix. Watched this third installment of the Knives Out series last night and I was just as frustrated with this whodunnit as I was with the first two. The actors were game, especially Daniel Craig as Detective Benoit Blanc with his weird southern drawl, and Josh O’Conner as the new priest in town. I just wish they were given better material to work with. Too long a runtime, too many characters, too much plot, too many red herrings cause me to loose interest after about 90 minutes and I struggle to make it to the end. Happened with all three films in this series. I know I’m in the minority here.

Not only sucked in, but threatened to stay in or they will go to hell. Only religion can forgive thee of sins.
It preached (pun intended) about cult behavior and the crap we’re dealing with today.

Wonderful mystery. And Craig and Glenn Close gave excellent performances.
