White Lotus, Season 3 begins tonight on HBO/Max.

Thailand is the setting this time around and, according to Mike White, the creator of the series, religion is the general theme. He has said that the theme of Season 1 was money and in Season 2 it was sex. Hopefully, Season 3 will be just as compelling as the first 2. Can’t wait. Any other fans?

2. I enjoyed the first 2 episodes, but this past Sunday's episode was a major snooze fest.

I really hope the plots pick up next episode. This past Sunday's episode seemed to be directed by the director or photography or something. So many weird camera shots of the beautiful scenery in Thailand, but not much action happening during the entire episode. My husband actually fell asleep.

3. Last night's episode was SO much better and got my interest back again in the series.

4. OK. Who watched the whole thing?

The finale was gut wrenching.

5. I watched with clenched teeth the entire 90 minute episode.

Darker than the first 2 seasons but still one of the best series of the past decade IMHO. Mike White is an incredibly talented writer and director. Kudos to the production design and sound technicians, the show’s music is brilliant and it remains one of the best photographed shows on TV. I felt this season was as good as the first 2 and hope there’s a season 4, which I just read is going to happen.

6. I was surprised by some choices.

But as we got closer and closer to discovery, my worst fears came true.

Just like our world right now.

Had to retreat to Peacock and reruns of 30 Rock where joy can be found.

7. i don't think we have seen the last of Gary/Greg.

or Belinda/Zion for that matter. I sure hope Gary/Greg gets his comeuppance.
