DR Congo Mine Collapses After a Series of Landslides Due to Heavy Rainfall - WION
Over 200 people were reportedly killed in a collapse at the Rubaya coltan mine in eastern Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) on Wednesday. The death toll was shared by Lumumba Kambere Muyisa, spokesperson for the rebel-appointed governor of the province where the mine is located, Reuters reported. However, the governor feared that the death toll was likely to increase.
