If you have the money, restock your pantry, your freezer, your refrigerator with stuff that will last a few months, if not longer.

Christmas and Easter are when most stores offer bargains with the most products.

Example: I found Maxwell House Coffee (24.5 oz) sold for $9.99, reduced to $16.29, reduced from $27-something. I got 4 canisters.

Pasta, flour, cheese, butter, and more. Buy chicken, pork, and meat -- and freezer paper and freezer bags.

Cleansers (dishes, clothes, etc.). Vinegar, baking soda. Sponges, "scrubbers". Bars of soap for hand-washing and showers.

Toilet paper. Paper towels.

Get a circular from several stores and study them like Napoleon studied the maps of Europe.

Not only will you save money today, but tomorrow b/c we know the prices will increase with "gas surcharges" for deliveries to the stores in the near future.

Just be careful to not buy too much and there are storage issues.

I thought quite the opposite and use last-half of summer and new harvest September-October as stock up time.

But it's true everything will have an energy add-on going forward. Think of it as the TTTT - Trump Transportation Tariff Tax
