I live 20 miles south of the Canadian border

In NY.
We had tomatoes in Oct and small peppers in early Nov.
I did not cover my plants once.
Since I have lived here (35 years) our growing zone went from a 4 to 5A.
Of course it is - 2 with the WC right now....
