Why "Learn to Code" Failed - PolyMatter

With the push towards STEM education, coding experience was thought of as the pathway to a well-paying job. However, the number of jobs available in the field is not growing at a rate to keep the new coders employed.

You have to have a really good sense of logic,
Helps to have some accounting skills,
Knowledge of math,
A little bit of communication skills,
Maybe throw in some interpersonal skills,
Might want to add some time management,
Listening always helps,
Combined with the ability to understand what you heard,
Then just an aside you then have all the external tools that you have to learn and apply.

IMO.

Not that I’m looking for a job. Thank God.

Listening and understanding what’s going on are keys to me.

While they were ramping up H1-B hiring. It has cost many people a lot of money in the form of wasted student loans.

Ron Hira has been speaking out against it for years.
