But then again, if the markets really crash, like a 5,000 point one-day plunge on the Dow or something, he's going to have his donors complaining. And unless he's got all his filthy lucre in crypto or something, it's going to hurt him, too, isn't it?
He wants to fire Powell, but if that brings on The Crash, he'll have to take the blame for it. If he has any advisors worth a damn, wouldn't they be telling him not to rock the boat? And if they do, will he listen?
Ah, wild times we live in, ain't they, that the fate of American Capitalism is in the hands of one deranged but all-powerful felon.
